Starting
on January 21st (Saturday), we’ll hold a design
concept class with plant selection. You are invited to bring in a picture of an
area in which you would like suggestions. We will as a group discuss from a
designer’s point of view what information is needed in order to choose the
right specimen for your landscape. You
need to provide a rough sketch of the area, measurements of the bed width and
length. Or, if you have an area in
which you have an empty spot, the maximum growth measurement to which the plant
cannot exceed. In addition, preferably a picture (s) of the house or view in
which you are working on. This clinic will better help you to understand what
goes through a designer’s thought process when selecting plant material. Due to limited space and lunch, pre-registration is required for all attendees by Jan.
18th.
